how much is that dead bird in the window

yesterday i went walking through chinatown to take pictures of dead animals for my thesis project. later this week i have to buy a bird and take pictures of a lovely lady pulling it apart. things are on their way...

Also in chinatown i videoed a fish dying after being tossed into a water-less basin. I want to go back and talk more to the butchers. The friend I was with said that while i was filming the other fish he saw them take a fish, skin it live THEN chop its head off. It's mouth was still going "blub blub blub" apprently. anyway...here are some graphic images

r/e/merge

My horoscope, according to the all knowing Rob Brezsny, says I should start a blog---or start actually using the one I already have.  ---And since i'm superstitious, privy/prone to positive manipulation, i say why not.  -Challenge accepted-   Now I will hold myself accountable to do work (do work well), because I will be forced to see it's slime trail...or lack there of.

Since my mum is coming in town Tuesday, I should really be getting my room in order.
I would like some awesome crate-on-the-wall storage please.
(vintage crate storage from baileys home and garden)

Where's the Fire Marshall for this insanity?

Anthropologie window holiday window display, what a hoot.  Still waiting to hear back from getting a shop from them... the woman said it could take upward of 6 months.  jeeeez.

An awesome craft for you to do:
friendship bracelet upgrade forrealz at honestly wtf

I need to stop blog surfing for real now.  system overload of amazing things.

So, tonight I will make some mylars for an image I will screen print tomorrow, and tomorrow I will post the damn thang right here.  promise

holy moley

so right now i'm totally into moleosophy.

Moleosophy is the art of reading the various moles on one's body to predict personality traits, luck & character.

turns out ....
a man with a mole on his nipple is fickle.
an individual with a mole on his ear is of a reeckless disposition.
a fellow with a freckle on his foot fancies travel
a man with a mole on his right rib is a coward

a filly on whose forehead you find a freckle will find happiness in marraige,
a foal with the same will just find happiness.

hope that was helpful.

sights that struck me today

1)  two men - dressed in business suits - standing one in front of the other - taking pictures of the ghandi memorial with fancy cameras

2) a toddler in a stroller covered in clear plastic weather shield - arms out stretched - hands against the plastic - screaming her head off ____baby in a bubble.

3) a man standing still with his arms out stretched, head resting on his left shoulder - to the side and back - like jesus on the cross - only to walk further and see this act was some game that amused the five year old at his knees

4) an elderly asian woman with a pink umbrella and a crooked spine.
